Don Bosco Boys' Home

A residential educational home for the holistic development of young boys, in the spirit of Saint John Bosco.

About the home

A home where every child can grow in dignity and hope

Don Bosco Boys' Home is a residential educational home dedicated to the holistic development of young boys from diverse backgrounds. Operating under the Missionaries of Peace Fathers with the guidance of the Diocese of Miao, it stands on the Ferrando School Campus in Sengapather, Mahadevpur, and is home to around 130 resident boys.

The home draws its inspiration from the educational philosophy of Saint John Bosco — an approach of reason, religion, and loving-kindness that accompanies each young person with patience and affection. In the wider work of the Diocese of Miao, it joins a steadfast commitment to education, youth development, and social outreach across North-East India.
