A witness to God's love
All members are committed to the virtue of chastity. They do everything in their power to make all their thoughts, words, and actions pleasing to Christ, and they dress neatly, in accordance with the community's customs and policies.
Chastity is a call to love and serve God and all God's people, rather than to love one person exclusively in marriage. By offering the whole of their affection to God, the Missionaries of Peace point beyond themselves to the One who loves without measure — a heart undivided is a heart made available for prayer, for the poor, and for the peace of Christ carried to those who have never known it.
Lived in community and sustained by grace, chastity is not a mere renunciation but a liberation, becoming a source of joy and of fruitful, self-giving love. A life of chastity is, above all, a witness and testimony to God's love.
