Tender affection for the Virgin Mary
All the members cultivate a tender and filial affection for the Virgin Mary, seeking to imitate her as the most sublime example of Christian perfection. Honoured under the title of Our Lady of Fatima, the Queen of Peace, she is the principal patroness of the community.
She is honoured with the daily recitation of the Rosary and other pious Marian practices, in harmony with the liturgical seasons. It is on her feast, 13 May, that new members profess their commitment, and it is to her maternal intercession that the mission of peace is entrusted.
Personal prayer
Members also set aside regular time for meditation and personal prayer of the heart, seeking contemplation and union with God. With devotion also to the Holy Family and to Saint Joseph, the community learns from Mary how to receive the Word, to keep it, and to bear Christ's peace to the world.
