Spiritual Life

A life whose supreme law is the Gospel, whose model is Jesus Christ, and whose ultimate purpose is union with God.

The heart of our vocation

Union with God

The spiritual life, both personal and communal, has its supreme law in the Holy Gospel, its exemplary model in Jesus Christ, and its ultimate purpose in union with God. Each member therefore strives to meet the Lord Jesus — the Son intimately united to the Father and the Redeemer of the world.

The Holy Eucharist

The mystery of the Holy Eucharist is the summit of the entire liturgy and the life of the Church. Its celebration is regarded as the centre of the spiritual and apostolic life of both the individual member and the community.

The Liturgy of the Hours

To share in the liturgical life of the Church, the members celebrate together each day at least the principal Hours of the Divine Office.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Each member takes special care to make frequent use of this sacrament, as a guarantee of a serious journey of perfection, and each has full freedom to choose his confessor.

Eucharistic adoration

The practice of Eucharistic adoration is observed, according to the possibilities, at least once a week — preferably on Thursdays.
